Summer's Here!

I cannot believe I have let this much time go by without blogging!  Life just creeps up on me and gets in the way sometimes.  Our adoption classes have officially ended and this last Tuesday was the first Tuesday night we haven't had to go to class.  It was very strange and we weren't quite sure what to do with ourselves.  We ended up spending the evening together as a family and we all went to bed early- getting some much needed rest.

For those who haven't seen this pic on Facebook, here is a photo of us with our adoption class friends.  We hope to get together again soon for a barbeque.

What a blessing these people were/are to us!  They are a great support system, and we feel blessed to have them in our life.  We are all praying and rooting for each other.

After that we (Jake & I) had to finish out the school year.  On the last day, we had a really fun program with the kids, and then a bbque outside when it was over.  Here are a few fun pics of that day- I helped in K3, but was able to get some pics of Jake with his class & teacher too:

They were all so cute that day and did a great job! Jake's class recited 26 Bible verses BY HEART! What a blessing!! We will miss Mrs. Chapman next year- she is such a wonderful teacher!

I have a feeling that the rest of the summer is going to fly by very quickly.  With swimming lessons, Vacation Bible School,  basket deliveries to the hospital, and fundraising for our adoption going on it will be Fall before we know it!
